All hazardous waste containers shall be closed at <br /> all times except when adding or removing waste. Immediately close these containers and ensure all hazardous <br /> waste containers are closed when not adding or removing waste. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 601 CCR 66262.34(d) Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days. <br /> A white container containing used oil and two gray drums in the waste storage area were observed with no <br /> accumulation date and hazardous waste label. Facilities who generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per <br /> month and do not exceed 6000 kg of waste stored on site at any time may store waste on site up to 180 days. <br /> Immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy <br /> of the manifest to the EHD. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> Awhite container containing used oil in the auto shop was observed with no hazardous waste label and two gray <br /> drums in the waste storage lacked a hazardous waste label. Antonio Del Toro stated that all of their waste materials <br /> are placed in those drums. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> -the words"Hazardous Waste" <br /> - name and address of generator <br /> - hazardous properties <br /> - physical state <br /> -composition (contents) <br /> -accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required information. <br /> Since these containers have been on site longer than 180 days, immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste <br /> hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> An inspection report was provided to the facility operator on the day of inspection. The report was amended by <br /> the EHD.
