All hazardous waste containers shall be closed at all times except when adding or removing waste. <br /> Immediately close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed when not adding or <br /> removing waste. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class ll. <br /> 404 CCR 66262.34(4)(2) Failed to inspect hazardous waste storage areas at least weekly. <br /> Hazardous waste containers are not inspected weekly. In the secondary containment holding the 2- 55 gallon drums <br /> of antifreeze waste, there was approximately 1 gallon of liquid. Asked general manager, Bao Nguyen, how often are <br /> the containers inspected and he stated monthly. Hazardous waste container storage and transfer areas shall be <br /> inspected weekly for leaking containers and for deterioration of containers and the containment system caused by <br /> corrosion and other factors. Immediately begin conducting the necessary weekly inspections for all hazardous waste <br /> containers at this facility. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> The used oil tank lack the accumulation start date. All hazardous waste tanks shall be marked with the words <br /> "Hazardous Waste" and the accumulation start date. Immediately ensure that all hazardous waste tanks are marked <br /> with the required information. This was corrected on site. <br /> The container holding the 2- 55 gallon drums of antifreeze waste was found without a label. All hazardous waste <br /> containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> -the words "Hazardous Waste" <br /> - name and address of generator <br /> - hazardous properties (toxic, reactivity, flammable and corrosive) <br /> - physical state <br /> -composition (contents) <br /> -accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required information.
