EI Dorado, Stockton Program: HW <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> CLASS I, CLASS II, or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> NOTES (The following are not violations) <br /> The facility was unable to extract hazardous waste disposal receipts due to time constrain and <br /> organization of paperwork during this inspection, but the owner stated the hazardous waste disposal <br /> receipts were kept on site. The owner estimated approximately 200 gallons of waste oil was disposed <br /> by hazardous hauler once every three months, and only minimum amount of waste anti-freeze and <br /> waste from the two parts washer serviced by Safety Kleen. Based on this estimation the facility <br /> generated approximately 2.2 tons of hazardous waste in 2011. Please be aware this number is subject <br /> to change after a copy of the disposal receipts have been submitted to this office per above-referenced <br /> #122/125 corrective action requirement. <br /> 404. One 55-gallon drum of waste anti-freeze was not closed. All hazardous waste containers shall be <br /> closed at all times except when adding or removing waste. Discrepancy was corrected on site. <br /> 605. One 55-gallon drum of waste anti-freeze had no hazardous properties and physical state, and no <br /> current accumulation date on the 500-gallon used oil tank. All hazardous waste containers shall be <br /> marked with the following information: <br /> 1. the words "Hazardous Waste" <br /> 2. name and address of generator <br /> 3. hazardous properties <br /> 4. physical state <br /> 5. composition (contents) <br /> 6. accumulation start date <br /> All hazardous waste tanks shall be marked with the following information: <br /> 1. the words "Hazardous Waste", and the words "Used Oil" if it contains used oil <br /> 2. accumulation start date <br /> Owner provided a copy of the latest used oil disposal receipt (2012). Discrepancy was corrected on site. <br /> Discussed with generator Universal Waste management requirements including aerosol cans, lamps, <br /> alkaline batteries, mercury containing switches, CRT, electronic devices, etc. in a closed container with a <br /> method to identify the content and the start date of accumulation.
