Copies of hazardous was disposal records for the last 3 years were not available <br /> for inspection. Hazardous waste generators shall retain copies of all manifests signed by the disposal <br /> facility and all receipts used in a consolidated manifesting procedure on site for three years and have <br /> them readily available for review. Immediately locate a copy of all manifests and receipts for the last <br /> three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the EHD by April 27, 2012. <br /> 127. Bills of lading for the spent lead acid batteries for the last three years were not found on site. A <br /> copy of each bill of lading must be kept on site for at least three years. Immediately locate a copy of ach <br /> disposal record for the spent lead acid batteries for the last three years, maintain them on site, and <br /> submit copies to the EHD by April 27, 2012. <br /> 128. Bills of lading for the recycling of used oil filters for the last three years were not found on site. A <br /> copy of each bill of lading must be kept on site for at least three years. Immediately locate a copy of all <br /> bills of lading for used oil filters for the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the <br /> EHD by April 27, 2012. <br /> 301. Oily absorbents and oily stains were observed on the floor beneath machine parts and removed <br /> engines at the southwest and west side of the shop, and at the north wall of the storage area next to the <br /> three-stage sand clarifier. Facilities shall be maintained and operated to minimize the possibility of a <br /> fire, explosion, or release of hazardous waste to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human <br /> health or the environment. Immediately clean up the above wastes and manage according to Title 22 <br /> hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this <br /> waste was managed by April 27, 2012. <br /> 610. No accumulation start date on the 55-gallon drum of used oil filters, and no label on the 15-gallon <br /> drum of used oil filters. Neither drums were closed (the 55-gallon open drum was subsequently closed <br /> on site). Used oil filters must be stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as "drained used oil <br /> filters," and marked with an accumulation start date. Immediately dispose the used oil filters and submit <br /> a copy of the disposal record by April 27, 2012. and ensure all used oil filters are managed in this way. <br /> 812. Copies of Universal Waste disposal records were not found on site. A copy of the disposal <br /> receipts of Universal Waste, including but not limited to lamps, alkaline batteries, mercury containing <br /> switches, CRT, and electronic devices, shall be retained on site available for inspection.
