PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE) AND <br /> MATRIX <br /> • Fall Protection. Fall protection must be provided when employees are exposed to a fall of four feet <br /> (six feet at construction sites)or more to a lower level or from any height over dangerous equipment. <br /> + Fall protection will consist of either barriers such as guard rails,gates,chains,screens or doors,or <br /> personal fall restraint and arrest systems such as travel restrictive belts and tethers or full-body <br /> harnesses,lanyards and life lines. <br /> (See Fall Protection Plan when Conventional Fall Arrest System is Not Feasible for the Job.) <br /> • Electrical Protection. Non-conductive tools, personal protective equipment and clothing must be <br /> provided to employees who are exposed to contact with live electrical wiring or connections. Such <br /> exposure includes working with electric power tools or equipment in rainy or otherwise wet <br /> environments. <br /> • Visibility Protection.
