THE PAPE GROUP, INC <br /> PAPE MACHINERY INC <br /> Job Description <br /> Job Title: Parts Counter Sales III <br /> Department: Parts._ <br /> Reports To: Department Mgr./Product Support Mgr r <br /> Exempt: No MAY 1 5 2015 <br /> Prepared By: LNVrR� <br /> Prepared Date: r 4 NMENTA.! <br /> Approved By: -, <br /> Approved Date: <br /> Summary: Man a centrally located call center telephone to respond to customer needs for parts at all <br /> locations. <br /> Essential Duties And Responsibilities: <br /> • Determine customers parts needs through use of microfiche, literature and parts knowledge. <br /> • Recommend parts or service to customers. <br /> • Maintain relationships with established customers and build relationships with potential <br /> customers. <br /> • Maintain own knowledge of products, services, parts and costs of each. <br /> • Complete all necessary paperwork on each transaction in an accurate timely manner. <br /> • Maintain a good relationship with all departments and co-workers. <br /> • Provide quotes or estimates for parts on repairs to customer, as requested. <br /> • Maintain literature,customer marketing files and microfiche files on a current basis. <br /> • Process credits,make adjustments, monitor for restocking charges on all parts sales completed. <br /> • Coordinate customer needs with CSA"s. <br /> • Sell the Total John Deere Advantage when communicating with customers. <br /> • Other duties as may be assigned. <br /> C• Ensure chemical containers are properly labeled and any spills contained,cleaned up and <br /> reported. <br /> Education And/Or Experience: <br /> • Minimum of 5 years related parts experience and/or training with our major manufacturers(i.e. <br /> John Deere, Hitachi,Tigercat); or equivalent combination of education and experience. <br /> Language Skills: <br /> • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance <br /> instructions, and procedure manuals. <br /> • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. <br /> • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. <br /> 1 <br />
