Used Oil Storage Tank/ Containment Integrity Report for HMT Inspection Pape Machinery, Inc. May 5,2015 French Camp, CA Page 6 of 41 2.0 SIGNIFICANT FINDINGS The following is a summary of the significant findings of the inspection. History: This is the second inspection performed by HMT Inspection at Pape Machinery, Inc., in French Camp, CA. Inspection was conducted on the outside bulk Storage Tank containing used oil and associated piping, which were installed in 2006. Tank as identified below: Configuration and nominal capacity for the double-wall secondary containment tank: Storage Tank: 1,000 Gallons Inspection of the aboveground outside bulk Storage Tank revealed no areas of defects or anomalies that would require immediate corrective action at this time or that should be addressed in future maintenance planning at the next available opportunity. Reference Section 3.0 for the identification, diagram and area layouts of the tank, piping and containment details inspected. Inspection of the aboveground outside bulk Storage Tank and its related components and containment systems inside the transfer shed revealed no areas of defects or anomalies that would require immediate corrective action at this time or that should be addressed in future maintenance planning at the next available opportunity. Aboveground Outside Bulk Storage Tank Facility FOUNDATION: The Storage Tank rests on a concrete slab outside of the Service Shop. The Storage Tank was constructed to UL 142 design standard and is of double-wall construction meant to act as a self-containing system in case the primary tank were to fail. The Storage Tank rests on its steel structural channel supports with anchorage to the concrete floor. Anchorage consists of four (4) '/2-in. diameter bolts which are attached to the steel structural channel supports with welded structural angles(ref. photos).
