Barton
California Regional Water Quality Control Board
Central Valley Region
11020 Sun Center Drive#200
Rancho Cordova, California 95670
Subject: Site Investigation Status
Former Mobil Service Station 99-CAS located at 75 East Alpine Ave.,Stockton,California
Dear Mr.Barton:
I write to inform you of site investigation activities concerning the lateral extent of the impacted soil
and groundwater near the above-referenced site. To comply with your letter dated May 3, 2007,ETIC
Engineering, Inc. (ETIC) issued access request letters to offsite property owners to install offsite
groundwater monitoring wells. A request for an access agreement was mailed to the owner of the
property located at 3300 North El Dorado Street, which is currently an operating car wash facility.
The name and mailing address for the owner of property located at 3300 North El Dorado Street is
presented below:
Kelly F. Reilly
7808 Kelley Drive,F
Stockton,California 95207
On May 29 and June 11, 2007, Mr. Reilly informed ETIC that he would not grant access for the
installation of a well on his property. At your request, ETIC contacted the City of Stockton Public
Works Department about possibly installing the well in the sidewalk west of the property located at
3300 North El Dorado Street. The City of Stockton has preliminary plans to widen the North El
Dorado Street within approximately one year and would require that the well be relocated prior to
their field work.
ETIC has also been informed by Mr. Robert A. Sullivan, who owns the property located on the
southeastern comer of the intersection of North El Dorado and East Alpine, that our proposed location
on his property will become a turning lane as part of same street widening plan. He has indicated that
once we have a better idea of what the City of Stockton plans to do,he would be open to discussing an
alternative location for well installation.
An ExxonMobil Subsidiary
