Two 55 gallon black metal drums nearly full of oily solid sludge, located in the truck wash area, have <br /> incomplete or unreadable hazardous waste labels. One label has handwritten label writing that is <br /> smudge, illegible & missing contents, physical & hazardous properties, & start accumulation date. The <br /> other label is missing the start accumulation date. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with <br /> the following information: <br /> 1. the words "Hazardous Waste", 2. name and address of generator, 3. hazardous properties <br /> 4. physical state (solid or liquid), 5. composition (contents), 6. accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all <br /> the required information. <br /> - Corrected on site. Label is typed and legible with all the minimum information on label. <br /> 108. Two blue 20 gallon metal drums of ZEP ID Fast Evaporating Solvent Flush & R-8297 Air Conditioner <br /> Flush have been in the Body Shop for undetermined amount of time. Less than a 1/3 of liquid in each <br /> container. Per Body Shop manager, they are unusable substance since the liquids have rust particles. <br /> Any person who generates a waste shall determine if the waste is a hazardous waste. Immediately make <br /> a hazardous waste determination for the waste, and manage it according the Title 22 hazardous waste <br /> regulations.
