19.6 A fixed monitoring system for Grade D breathing air for Carbon Monoxide and Air Temperature is located in the Sulfuric Plant Motor Control Center (MCC) which will initiate a continuous alarm in the sulfuric operations control room. This procedure monitors the supplied air (Line-Air) which is used during confined space entry operations 20.0 DESCRIPTION OF EMERGENCY RESPONSE EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES The purpose of this section is to describe the equipment and supplies normally available for emergency response. 20.1 Emergency equipment and supplies locations are as indicated: Spill response supply equipment South ER building (1 box) North ER building (1 box) SCBA units and spare Wttle South ER building (2 ea) Shift Supervisor office (2 ea) North ER building (2 ea) Level A response suits Shift Supervisor office (2-NH3, 2-acid) Scalehouse (1-acid) 20.1.1 Only ERT members are allowed access to these locations. 20.1.2 Equipment and supplies at each location are shown on the inspection forms. 20.1.3 Emergency equipment must be inspected by ERT members on a monthly basis, using the attached inspection forms. 20.2 Hand-held fire extinguishers are located throughout each building'and all plant areas. Locations shown on the hazardous materials management plan (HMMP). 20.2.1 Fire extinguishers shall be clearly marked for easy visibility. 20.2.2 Fire extinguisher inspections will occur monthly and will be performed by assigned department personnel. 20.3 Self-contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) are located in a cabinet in the hallway at shift supervisor's office and in the emergency equipment sheds located , southeast of the E&I shops and north of the Engineering/Safety offices building. 20.3.1 SCBA's are in portable boxes, which are clearly identified. 20.3.2 SCBA's are stored in pairs at each location 20.3.3 One additional air bottle is stored with each SCBA .
