Joint inspection with US EPA <br /> Checklist inspection report provided on 0212012013. <br /> Written inspection report provided 0410812013. <br /> 108. Failed to determine if waste is a hazardous waste. A used oily red rag was found in the trash can of <br /> the Oil Room. Per EH&S, used red rags are collected into red cans to be taken by the laundry service for <br /> wash. Any person who generates a waste shall determine if the waste is a hazardous waste. <br /> Immediately remove the used oily red rag, make a hazardous waste determination, and manage it <br /> according the Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. <br /> - Corrected on site. Used oily red rag was removed from trash can and placed into red can. <br /> 605. A couple of 55 gallon metal drums full of vehicle wash bay sludge had labels with faded information <br /> or the labels were not visible as they were blocked by other drums. All hazardous waste containers shall <br /> be marked with the following information and clearly visible to view: <br /> 1. the words "Hazardous Waste", 2. name and address of generator, 3. hazardous properties <br /> 4. physical state, 5. composition (contents), 6. accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all <br /> the required information. <br /> - Corrected on site. Faded information was remarked.
