Once full,the material will be analyzed to determine the ' <br /> appropriate disposal method. <br /> VIII. Data Recording and Management ' <br /> The supervising geologist or scientist will be responsible for documenting drilling <br /> events using a bound field notebook and/or PDA to record all relevant information in a ' <br /> clear and concise format. The record of drilling events will include: <br /> • start and finish dates of drilling; ' <br /> • name and location of project; <br /> • project number, client, and site location; ' <br /> • sample number and depths; <br /> • blow counts and recovery; <br /> • depth to water; <br /> • type of drilling method; ' <br /> • drilling equipment specifications, including the diameter of ddlljng tools; <br /> • documentation of any elevated organic vapor readings; <br /> names of drillers, inspectors, or other people onsite; and <br /> • weather conditions. ' <br /> IX. Quality Assurance ' <br /> Equipment will be cleaned prior to use onsite, between each drilling location,and prior <br /> to leaving the site. Drilling equipment and associated tools, including augers, drill ' <br /> rods, sampling equipment,wrenches, and other equipment or tools that may have <br /> come in contact with soils and/or waste materials will be cleaned with high-pressure <br /> steam-cleaning equipment using a potable water source. The drilling equipment will <br /> be cleaned in an area designated by the supervising engineer or geologist that is <br /> located outside of the work zone.
