Woodward-Clyde <br /> Consultants <br /> 4.0 <br /> SITE STATUS AND PLANNED ACTIVITIES <br /> This section presents specific responses to the information requirements of the <br /> November 17, 1991 letter from SJCPHS <br /> 4.1 STATUS OF INVESTIGATION AND CLEANUP ACTIVITIES <br /> In rune 1990, three gasoline tanks (6,000 gallon, 8,000 gallon and 10,000 gallon) and an <br /> underground waste oil tank (500 gallon) were removed from the property by the Seibold <br /> Corporation No additional cleanup has been implemented to date <br /> 4.2 PROPOSED CONTINUING OR NEXT PHASE OF INVESTIGATION <br /> The next phase of the investigation will include the continuation of the quarterly groundwater <br /> monitoring Soil samples will be collected in the pipeline trenches (in areas where <br /> contamination was detected in the soil samples collected by FGL) and tank excavation (in <br /> areas where elevated lead levels were detected in the soil samples collected by FGL) to <br /> address the concerns of the San Joaquin County Public Health Services (SJCPHS) in their <br /> letter to American Real Estate Group dated November 12, 1991 and to determine if the <br /> existing excavation can be backfilled in view of lead clean-up standards, Soil samples will <br /> be collected from the stockpiled soil to determine if the soil can be used to backfill the tank <br /> excavation. <br /> 4.3 METHOD OF CLEANUP PROPOSED OR EMPLEMENTED TO DATE <br /> In June 1990, three gasoline tanks (6,000 gallon, 8,000 gallon and 10,000 gallon) and an <br /> underground waste oil tank (500 gallon) were removed from the property by the Seibold <br /> Corporation No additional cleanup has been implemented to date.
