W <br /> *4STD <br /> Son lbaqtain Regional'transit District <br /> • Develop and file a Biennial Hazardous Waste Report <br /> In summary, the SJRTD, currently manages the following environmental <br /> programs: <br /> • Both the Stockton and French camp facilities generate, accumulate and <br /> manage hazardous waste. <br /> • The Stockton facility manages eight (8) underground storage tanks (USTs) <br /> that are used to store automotive fluids and fuels such as diesel fuels, <br /> gasoline, motor oil (40 weight oil), transmission fluid, and used oil. <br /> • The Stockton facility also holds a permit to operate (PTO), issued by the <br /> San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District (SJVAPCD) for its air <br /> emissions from its gasoline UST. In addition, an Authority to Construct <br /> has been filed with the SJVAPCD for obtaining a Permit to Operate (PTO) <br /> for an emergency standby generator at the Stockton facility. <br /> • Participate in and partner with regional and statewide efforts and <br /> organizations in reducing the emissions of carbon monoxide (CO), <br /> particulate matter (PM: total particulates and PM10: particulate matter of <br /> 10 micron or less in aerodynamic shape), Nitrogen Oxides (NOx), and <br /> Sulfur Dioxides (Sox). <br /> • Both the Stockton and French camp facilities store quantities of hazardous <br /> materials that trigger the regulated threshold quantities as mandated by <br /> the California Health and Safety Code, requiring the preparation and <br /> submission of a hazardous materials management plan (HMMP) to the <br /> San Joaquin County Office of Emergency Services (OES). <br /> 46 <br />
