• The following is an example of a Technical Certification Statement: <br /> TECHNICAL CERTIFICATION STATEMENT FOR THE PLAN <br /> (Example format- not required by SB 14) <br /> l certify this Source ,Reduction Evaluation, Review and Plan meets all of the following <br /> requirements; <br /> (1)The review and planaddresses each hazardous waste strum identified pursuant to <br /> section 67100.5(h);Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations. <br /> (2)The review and plan addresses the source reduction approaches specified in section <br /> 67100.50),Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations. <br /> (3)The review and plan clearly sets forth the measures to be taken with respeet to each <br /> hazardous waste stream for which source reduction has been found to be technically <br /> feasible and econotnieally practicable, with timetables for making reasonable and <br /> measurable grog ress,auddoc u ments the rationale for rejecting;available source reduction <br /> measures. <br /> (4)The review and plan does not merely shift hazardous waste from one envirolwwntal <br /> medium to another cnv ircumen tat medium by increasing emissions or discharges to air.. <br /> water,or land. <br /> name signature <br /> The intent ofthe financial certification for the Plan is to ensure that the"person who <br /> is capable of committing the financial resources necessary to implement the Plan"is <br /> aware of its contents and the necessary resource commitment. The financial <br /> certification of the Plan must be completed by any one of the following people who <br /> is capable of committing financial resources necessary to implement the source <br /> reduction measures: <br /> • the owner; <br /> • the operator; <br /> • the responsible corporate officer; or <br /> • an authorized individual. <br /> The person completing the financial certification in the Plan must sign and date the <br /> following language that is required by SB 14: <br /> 43 <br />
