This facility's EPA ID number is inactive. A hazardous waste generator shall not treat, store, dispose <br /> of, transport or offer for transportation, hazardous waste without an EPA ID number. Immediately contact <br /> DTSC and reactivate your EPA ID number and submit evidence to the EHD by 10-7-11 . DTSC's contact <br /> number has been provided. Minor-Notice to Comply. <br /> 108. Metal fines generated from grinding operations are being recycled as scrap metal without first <br /> determining particle size or hazardous properties. Any person who generates a waste shall determine if <br /> the waste is a hazardous waste. Immediately stop recycling metal fines, make a hazardous waste <br /> determination for the metal fines, and manage it according the Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. <br /> Particles 100 microns or smaller must be handled as hazardous waste if the metal is determined to be a <br /> hazardous waste. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was <br /> managed by 10-7-11. Minor-Notice to Comply. <br /> 301. Dark oil stains are on the ground underneath the equipment in the old maintenance shop. A trail of <br /> dark oil stains leads from the equipment in the oil maintenance shop north towards the manufacturing <br /> building. Dark and wet oil stains are on the ground beneath the saw machine. Dark oil stains are <br /> underneath the iron worker machine. Facilities shall be maintained and operated to minimize the <br /> possibility of a fire, explosion, or release of hazardous waste to air, soil, or surface water which could <br /> threaten human health or the environment. Immediately clean up the spilled oil and oil stains, and <br /> manage according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations.
