MONITORING AND REPORTING PROGRAM NO.R5-2003-0838 -3 -
KEARNEY-NATIONAL,INC.AND ALPINE BUILDERS,INC.
FORMER KEARNEY-KPF FACILITY
SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY
1. A description and discussion of the groundwater sampling event and results, including
trends in the concentrations of pollutants and groundwater elevations in the wells,how and
when samples were collected, and whether the pollutant plume(s) is delineated;
2. A description of the groundwater sampling event, including field logs. At a minimum, field
logs shall contain water quality parameters measured before and during purging and prior to
sample collection, method of purging, depth of water,volume of water purged, etc.;
3. Copies of all laboratory analytical report(s)that includes laboratory quality assurance/quality
control sampling data;
4. A calibration log verifying calibration of any field monitoring instruments (e.g., DO,pH,
EC, turbidity meters) used to obtain data;
5. Groundwater elevation contour maps for all groundwater zones for each quarter;
6. Isocomour pollutant concentration maps for all groundwater zones;
7. A table showing current and historical lateral and vertical (if applicable) flow directions and
gradients; and
8. Cumulative data tables containing the water quality analytical results for the constituents and
analytical parameters of significance to cleanup, and depth to groundwater.
An Annual Report shall be submitted to the Board by 1 February of each year. This report shall
contain an evaluation of the effectiveness and progress of the remediation, and maybe submitted
with the second semi-annual monitoring report. The Annual Report shall contain the following
minimum information:
1. Tabular and graphical summaries of all groundwater elevation and water quality data
collected during the previous year and historically;
2. Groundwater contour maps and pollutant concentration maps containing all data obtained
during the previous year;
3. A table showing well construction details such as well number, date of installation,
groundwater zone being monitored, coordinates(northings and eastings), ground surface
elevation,reference elevation, elevation of screen, elevation of bentonite, elevation of filter
pack, and elevation of well bottom;
4. A discussion of the long-term trends in the concentrations of the pollutants in the
groundwater monitoring wells;
