Document Number: 909 R 5003 Document Number: 909 R 5003 Procedure Rev: 12 Date: 1122113 Procedure Rev: 12 Date: 1/22/13 EMERGENCY RESPONSE PROCEDURES EMERGENCY RESPONSE PROCEDURES Diesel Fuel Diesel fuel is located in three tanks:a 10,000 gallon tank south of the furnace building, Tra1nIRE a 1,000 gallon tank south of the fumace immediately outside the (former) standby All members of management staff will receive training to understand the components generator door,and a 1,000 gallon tank north of the furnace building. Diesel is used of this plan. Meetings will be scheduled as needed to review the plan and address for heavy equipment fuel and as generator and fan motor fuel. The EHS Manager will be responsible for providing this plan to all (south side) and 1,000 gallon tank, on the north side, have secondary containment. appropriate employees and/or Contractors and emergency agencies. The 1,000 gallon tank on the south side is a double wall tank eliminating the need for secondary containment. As appropriate,practice drills will be held for the purpose of training personnel.Joint training exercises with emergency response agencies(i.e.,fire department)may be held. The EHS Manager will maintain appropriate training as required by federal and state regulations. Facility employees and/or Contractors will receive basic awareness training(a component of the Employment Orientation/HazCnm training)in a sufficient manner as to allow them to respond in a manner which maintains the safety of the employee and/or Contractor and allows for the,proper reporting of emergencies. Those employees and/or Contractors required to respond and assist in the cleaning up of small releases will receive additional on-site training,appropriate with the types of chemicals found on-site and level of response.
