Inspection of Emergency Equipment <br /> Record inspections of Erickson's emergency equipment on <br /> Tailgate Safety Meeting and Site Safety Audits. All portable <br /> fire extinguishers are rated type A, B, or C and are for use <br /> on small fires only. See site map(s) for information <br /> regarding the location or equipment per facility. <br /> 1. Fire Extinguishers <br /> Fire extinguishers are to be inspected monthly or after each <br /> use (which ever is most frequent) by the emergency <br /> coordinator. Inadequate pressure reading or damaged <br /> extinguishers are to be noted. The noted extinguishers are to <br /> be removed and taken away for replacement or repairs. <br /> 2 . Safety Shower and Eye washes <br /> As with fire extinguishers, safety showers and eye washes are <br /> to be inspected daily by the emergency coordinator. <br /> 3 . Respiratory Protection <br /> All respiratory protection, air purifying and air supplied, <br /> are to be inspected daily by Erickson's Emergency Coordinator. <br /> 4. First-Aid Kit <br /> The first-aid kit should be inspected daily by the Emergency <br /> Coordinator and deficiencies reported to the Erickson Safety <br /> representative. <br />
