PURPOSE: <br />An inspection was conducted at Libby -Owens Ford Plant #10, by <br />Public Health Services -Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) <br />to determine compliance with the Federal and State Hazardous <br />Waste Laws. <br />II. REPRESENTATIVES PRESENT: <br />Libby -Owens Ford (LOF-Plant #10): <br />John H. Kohring, Environmental Coordinator <br />Public Health Services -Environmental Health Division: <br />William Snavely, Registered Environmental Health Specialist <br />Pamela Violets Environmental Health Specialist <br />III. OWNER/OPERATOR: <br />President of the company is listed as-iZo:--ono-la,_811 Madison <br />Avenue, Toledo, Ohio 43965. <br />The Environmental Coordinator, John Kohring, is directly <br />responsible for the hazardous waste management at this <br />facility. <br />IV. BACKGROUND: <br />In June, 1989, Public Health Services -Environmental Health <br />Services (PHS-EHD) placed the LOF-Plant 110 on it's Hazardous <br />Waste Generator Program inventory. According to information <br />received from the State Department of Health Services, 133.7 <br />tons of hazardous waste was generated by Libby -Owens Ford in <br />1987. <br />V.
