Louise Avenue <br />Lathrop, CA. 95330 <br />RE: REPORT OF VIOLATION AND SCHEDULE OF CORRECTION: <br />On December 14, 1989, Public Health Services of San Joaquin County -Environmental <br />Health Division, conducted an inspection of Libby -Owens Ford Plant #10, located at 500 <br />East Louise Avenue in Lathrop. <br />As a result of that inspection, a violation of the hazardous waste statute and/or regulations <br />was identified. The specific violation and required corrective action is listed below. Failure <br />to correct the identified violation within the schedule provided will result in Public Health <br />Services -Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) citing you for continuingladditional <br />violations. <br />I. REPORT OF VIOLATION: <br />A. Section 66508 (a),(c), Title 22, California Code of Regulations, (CCR): Three <br />drums containing hazardous waste were not labelled as "Hazardous Waste". <br />II. SCHEDULE OF CORRECTION: <br />Violation #1: Effective immediately, all drums containing hazardous waste shall be <br />labelled with the following information: <br />a) The start date of accumulation. <br />b) The words "Hazardous Waste". <br />c) Your name and address. <br />d) Composition and physical state of the waste. <br />e) Statement or statements which will call attention to the particular hazardous <br />properties of the waste. <br />1 <br />A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services �� <br />
