Clarifloc C-6288 polyacrylamide solution was observed leaking onto the ground and accumulating <br /> near the water treatment area. According to the facility contact, the waste is removed from the ground <br /> and placed in the retention pond or the water treatment machine. It is being disposed of without first <br /> determining hazardous properties. Any person who generates a waste shall determine if the waste is a <br /> hazardous waste. Immediately stop disposal of Clarifloc, make a hazardous waste determination for this <br /> waste, and manage it according the Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement and <br /> supporting documentation explaining how this waste was managed by October 19, 2012. <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification to the EHD by October 19, 2012 <br /> along with a statement documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each <br /> violation and any supporting paperwork. <br /> Note: Discussed proper metal fine handling, storage, and disposal. <br /> Provided: <br /> - Modified Contingency Plan template <br /> - Schedule of free classes <br /> - Small Business Household Hazardous Waste brochure <br /> - Return to Compliance Certification form <br /> ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br /> THIS FACILITY IS SUBJECT TO REINSPECTION AT ANY TIME AT EHD'S CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br /> EHD Inspector: Received By: Title: <br /> Stacy Rivera (209) 468-3440 <br /> EHD 23-02-003 Rev 04/19/12 CONTINUATION FORM <br />
