All facility communications or alarm systems, fire <br />protection equipment, spill control equipment, and decontamination equipment, where required, shall be tested and <br />maintained as necessary to assure its proper operation in time of emergency. Immediately begin this practice. This <br />is a minor violation. <br />406 <br />CCR 66261.7(f) Contaminated container not marked with date emptied or managed within one year of being <br />emptied. <br />Three 55-gallon empty metal drums had no start date of being emptied. Containers larger than five gallons that <br />previously held a hazardous material shall be marked with the date they were emptied and managed within one year <br />of being emptied. Immediately mark and manage all empty containers per this section. This is a minor violation. <br />605 <br />CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or tanks of hazardous waste. <br />Two 55-gallon drums of solid and absorbent wastes were missing generator name and address, physical state, and <br />hazardous properties on the label, and no label on one t55-gallon drum of filtered waste from the steam washer <br />recycling unit which generator stated is being managed as hazardous waste by Sacramental Waste Oil. All <br />hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br />- the words "Hazardous Waste' <br />- name and address of generator <br />- hazardous properties <br />- physical state <br />- composition (contents) <br />- accumulation start date <br />Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all the required <br />information. Immediately dispose of the filtered waste by a licensed transporter since there is no date of <br />accumulation on the container and is therefore considered to be on site over 180 days. This is a repeat violation, <br />Class II. The two 55-gallon drum has been corrected on site. <br />608 <br />CCR 66266.130 Failed to properly manage used oil and fuel filters. <br />Bills of lading for the recycling of used oil filters for the last three years were not found on site (though generator <br />provided copies for 2014 and one for 2012 during subsequent inspection on 2/9/2015). A copy of each bill of lading <br />must be kept on site for at least three years. Immediately locate a copy of all bills of lading for used oil filters for the <br />last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the EHD. This is a minor violation. <br />709 <br />HSC 25201.16(g) Failed to store used aerosol cans in an accumulation container. <br />One aerosol waste can by the steam rack was found not stored in a container. Waste aerosol cans shall be <br />accumulated in containers. Immediately place these waste aerosol cans in a structurally sound, compatible <br />_ <br />contaier. This is a minor violation.
