Copies of used oil disposal records for 2012 were not found on site. Hazardous waste generators shall retain copies of all manifests signed off by the disposal facility and all receipts used in a consolidated manifesting procedure on site for three years and have them readily available for review. Immediately locate a copy of all manifests and receipts for the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the EHD by October 10, 2012. 122 & 705. Manifest number 005921229JJK (10/1/09) was not found on site. Manifest numbers 005918416JJK (11/10/09), 007120931JJK (4/20/10), 007429761JJK (10/29/10), 008142661JJK (4/25/11), 008138016JJK (10/07/11), and 009573266JJK (5/25/12) were found without a signed off copy from the destination facility. Hazardous waste generators shall retain copies of all manifests signed off by the destination facility on site for three years and have them readily available for review. If the generator did not receive a copy of the manifest with the handwritten signature of the owner or operator of the facility to which the generator's waste was submitted within 60 days of the date the waste was accepted by the initial transporter, the generator shall submit a legible copy of the missing manifest, with some indication that the generator has not received confirmation of delivery. This information shall be submitted to: DTSC Report Repository Generator Information Services Section P.O. Box 806 Sacramento, CA 95812-0806 Immediately locate a copy of the missing manifests or prepare and submit the required information to DTSC. By October 10, 2102, submit to the EHD a copy of the signed off copy of the manifests or a copy of the information submitted to DTSC. 808. A 55 gallon black steel drum of used aerosol cans and a 5 gallon white bucket of used batteries were observed in the shop storage area without the words 'universal waste.' Electronic waste was observed unlabeled in the battery bucket. A generator shall label or mark universal waste with the words 'Universal Waste' and the type of waste (batteries, mercury containing equipment, lamps/bulbs, electronic devices, CRTs, CRT glass, aerosol cans). Immediately label these wastes and ensure that all universal wastes are labeled with the required information. ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE. THIS FACILITY IS SUBJECT TO REINSPECTION AT ANY TIME AT EHD'S CURRENT HOURLY RATE.
