A copy of each <br /> bill of lading must be kept on site for at least three years. Immediately locate a copy of all bills of lading or manifests <br /> for lead acid batteries for the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the EHD. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 117 HSC 25404(e)(4) Failed to report program data electronically. <br /> A submission to the California Electronic Reporting System (CERS)for the hazardous waste program has not been <br /> made. Beginning January 1, 2013, all businesses are required to submit all new(or any changes to existing) <br /> hazardous waste information online to the CERS at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov. Be sure to include your hazardous <br /> waste activity in the Businesses Activities section in CERS in addition to any other relevant activities and required <br /> fields. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 301 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br /> Oil products were spilled next to the pallet north of the red Kline storage container. Coolant was spilled on the lot east <br /> of the repair shop under the truck. Facilities shall be maintained and operated to minimize the possibility of a fire, <br /> explosion, or release of hazardous waste to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the <br /> environment. Immediately clean up the spilled vehicle fluids, and manage according to Title 22 hazardous waste <br /> regulations. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was managed. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 403 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to keep hazardous waste containers closed except when adding or removing hazardous <br /> waste. <br /> The red Kline container has one unlabeled black 55 gallon drum of hazardous waste coolant and one 55 gallon drum of <br /> contaminated absorbent. Lead Mechanic David Blanco stated that these drums have hazardous stored in them. These <br /> containers were left open. All hazardous waste containers shall be closed at all times except when adding or removing <br /> waste. Immediately close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed when not adding or <br /> removing waste. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> Page 5 of 8 <br />
