One 55 gallon drum of hazardous waste coolant was not labeled. <br /> The second 55 gallon drum of hazardous waste coolant was only labeled with the content of coolant. The 55 gallon <br /> drum of hazardous waste absorbent was not labeled. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the <br /> following information: <br /> -the words"Hazardous Waste' <br /> -name and address of generator <br /> -hazardous properties <br /> - physical state <br /> -composition (contents) <br /> -accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required information. Since <br /> these containers have been on site longer than 180 days, immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to <br /> dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD. <br /> An accumulation start date was not marked on the hazardous waste used oil tank. All hazardous waste tanks shall <br /> be marked with the words"Hazardous Waste" and the accumulation start date. Immediately ensure that all <br /> hazardous waste tanks are marked with the required information. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 608 CCR 66266.130 Failed to properly manage used oil and fuel filters. <br /> The partially full 55 gallon drum of drained used oil filters was left open and not labeled. Used oil filters shall be <br /> drained of free-flowing oil, stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as "drained used oil filters," and marked with <br /> an accumulation start date. Immediately close the drum and label the drum as drained used oil filters, mark the <br /> accumulation start date, and ensure that all used oil filters are managed in this way. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> On site to conduct a routine hazardous waste inspection. <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by 8-13-16. <br /> Please be aware as of January 1, 2013, all businesses are required to submit all hazardous materials information <br /> online to the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov.
