Unified <br />CJroc&rS. <br />Distribution <br />JUL 2 8 2014 <br />- Stockton <br />_ A N TAL HEALTH <br />I OVERVIEW Emergency Notification for Spills and Releases <br />2. NOTIFICATION <br />3E Company contacts EH&S to relay information collected on scene. Based upon this <br />information EH&S will determine a course of action and what resources are required to <br />mitigate the spill or release. <br />3. REPORTING <br />EH&S (or their designee) will contact various local, state and federal agencies as <br />required (see reference material below). <br />In order to assist EH&S or their designees in determining which agencies to contact, US EPA <br />Reportable Quantities and a quick quantity conversion table are referenced below. US EPA <br />Reportable Quantities ("RQ") are defined as a quantity of listed hazardous materials or waste <br />that when spill or released requires notification. The State of California has no RQ's. Any <br />release regardless of size must be reported.
