KEEP CALM if you do receive arta. <br /> Persons making such calls normally do not call anyone in particular,but will deliver thea <br /> messages to the first person contacted Consequently, it is important that a call of this <br /> nature be handled in accordance with an established plan <br /> Immediate Action <br /> 1. Any employee receiving suoh a call should try to obtain as much information <br /> as possible. <br /> 2. The caller should be kept on ;he line as long as possible tc facilitate the <br /> tracing action and to aid in late*identification of voice charactenEitics <br /> 3 Listen and DO NOT interrupt. <br /> 4 Once a threat is received and as soon as d is possible, the employee <br /> receiving the threat should contact their supervisor and Loss Prevention to <br /> begin Bomb Threat Procedures. <br /> 5 As soon as key personnel are contacted the employee should notify the <br /> police department by dialing 9-1.1. <br /> Do not touch any unfamiliar package. but identify them and their location for <br /> responding police personnel. Remember you are more familiar with what does or <br /> does not belong in your area,so make mental notes. Do not transmit on a radio. or <br /> cel?phone.Turn off pacers.
