ECS REFINING <br />( <br />Yes <br />PAGE: <br />3 OF 13 <br />DOCUMENT N0 <br />400-0006-000 <br />TITLE: <br />Training Plan <br />Yes <br />CONFIDENTIAL <br />REVISION <br />B —1-2-2013 <br />Emergency Egress and Aisle Space <br />Yes <br />Yes <br />LPG Gas Use and Safety <br />Yes <br />No <br />Fire Protection Systems and Equipment <br />Yes <br />No <br />2.5 The topics listed above are covered through a combination of classroom training <br />and on-the-job training as applicable to ensure the employee has the necessary <br />knowledge to conduct his or her job safely. <br />2.6 Classroom training is supported by use of a written training presentation covering <br />such topics as respirator use, RCRA basics, hazardous waste management, hazard <br />communication, lead toxicology, chemical handling procedures, use of hearing <br />protection equipment, use of protective clothing, use of the uniform hazardous <br />waste manifest, emergency procedures, and other topics as appropriate. <br />2.7 Additional specific on-the-job training is given to employees prior to his or her <br />assignment to a new task. This training covers proper use of waste management <br />and processing equipment, emergency shut-off of processing equipment, spill <br />cleanup and response procedures, job -specific hazards, and how to minimize <br />hazards. On-the-job training will also cover the hazardous waste tracking <br />paperwork associated with the job, as applicable. <br />2.8 Annual Refresher Training <br />Employees will be given annual refresher training to refresh their knowledge on <br />applicable topics. This training may be given at one time during the year, or may <br />be given in smaller mini-trainings as the need arises. See the Table in Section 2 <br />above for the subjects that require annual refresher training. Initial and annual <br />training is recorded as annual in the Training Matrix. <br />2.9 Safety Meetings <br />Safety meetings are held for plant employees and supervisors to discuss safety <br />issues that may arise in the plant, to review safe handling and operating procedures, <br />and to provide another training forum. These safety meetings are held quarterly, at <br />a minimum. <br />3.0 RECORDKEEPING <br />3.1 To verify compliance with the measures outlined in this training plan, <br />records are kept of employee training. These include a combination of <br />computerized records and files for each employee. Records kept include the <br />following: <br />• Records of initial training given and the topics covered <br />• Records of any on the job training given to employees <br />• Records of refresher courses given <br />• Record of safety meeting topics covered, suggestions given, and attendees <br />
