r-1 <br />a <br />ECS REFINING 4 OG13 <br />3.2 The General Safety Topics and required Uniform Fire Code topics are recorded in the <br />Training Matrix as "Initial Employee Safety Training" when given initially and as <br />"Annual Employee Safety Training" when given as an annual refresher. The topics of <br />universal and hazardous waste training are given as a unit and recorded as "Universal <br />Waste Training". <br />4.0 TRAINER <br />4.1 All training provided to employees will be given by qualified personnel who <br />are trained in hazardous waste management and employee health and safety <br />issues. Training is typically conducted by the EH&S Engineer. <br />5.0 JOB DESCRIPTIONS <br />5.1 Each employee handling hazardous or universal waste is covered by a written job <br />description that describes the position's hazardous waste management tasks and <br />general tasks. <br />5.2 For purposes of the training plan and requirements, employees are assigned general <br />job descriptions based upon the Department in which they work.
