Existing universal wastes (CRTs and CRT glass) will be treated on-site using normal procedures and environmental abatement systems, if possible. If this is not feasible at the time of closure, unprocessed Universal Wastes will be transferred to another approved recycling facility for processing (as provided for in the Closure Cost Estimate). Should the facility choose to decontaminate all equipment, it will be cleaned by vacuuming and wiping, and the residues (vacuumed dust and contaminated rags) will be shipped off-site as a hazardous waste for disposal. There will be no danger of hazardous constituents migrating to the soil or surface waters or atmosphere after closure, as they will already have been completely removed from the facility, as documented using on-site inspections and confirmation sampling. 5.0 Maximum Inventory at Time of Closure The following presents an estimate of maximum inventory in storage and treatment at any given time during the life of the facility. This maximum waste inventory is based upon typical throughput and accumulated material ready for shipment.
