Spreckels Sugar Manteca, California JOB 88022
Areas which exceed CAM TTLC values would be considered to contain
hazardous materials . In the event that the quantity of material
was relatively small, the material would be disposed at an
appropriate disposal facility. In the event that the quantity of
material was relatively large, further testing would be performed
to determine whether additional segregation of the material was
appropriate.
Liquid materials would be evaluated for recycling as laboratory
materials .
In order to obtain preliminary information on the extent of soil
contamination in the spill areas, Spreckels personnel obtained
samples from the two spill areas . Samples were tested for total
lead in the Spreckels laboratory. Test results are given below.
The tests were all below the TTLC value of 1000 mg/kg for total
lead.
Pb
Tests North 1 West 61 mg/kg
North 2 East 77
Southwest 36
Southwest Corner Building 313
South Center 104
Southeast 247
If you have any questions or comments in this regard, please do
not hesitate to contact us .
Respectfully submitted,
j.19hn_ M.
