A 55 gallon poly drum of used antifreeze was observed inside the shop with an accumulation start <br /> date of August 8, 2011. The disposal records on site indicate the antifreeze was last picked up on <br /> February 13, 2012. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> 1. the words "Hazardous Waste" <br /> 2. name and address of generator <br /> 3. hazardous properties (flammable, corrosive, reactive, toxic) <br /> 4. physical state (liquid, solid) <br /> 5. composition (contents) <br /> 6. accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label this container with the correct information and ensure that all hazardous waste <br /> containers are marked with all the required information. REPEAT VIOLATION <br /> 610. A drain pan full of drained used oil filters was observed in the shop. According to the shop <br /> employee, they are stacked in the container until it is full, approximately a week, and are then crushed <br /> and placed in the drums on site. Used oil filters must be stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled <br /> as "drained used oil filters," and marked with an accumulation start date. Immediately containerize and <br /> label these filters and ensure that all used oil filters are managed in this way.
