Mr. Braun states that he currently averages two radiators a month. <br />Any waste antifreeze from these radiators is placed into the waste antifreeze container. The radiator is <br />then rinsed over the dead end sump to remove any antifreeze residual and debris. Rinsate in the dead <br />end sump is allowed to evaporate. Sludge that builds up in the dead end sump is disposed of by a septic <br />disposal service company. <br />108. Sludge generated from rinsing customers radiators are disposed of with a septic service company <br />without first determining hazardous properties. Rinsate generated from rinsing customers radiators that <br />are allowed to accumulate in the dead end sump without first determining hazardous properties. Any <br />person who generates a waste shall determine if the waste is a hazardous waste. Immediately stop <br />disposing of the sludge with a septic service company, and make a hazardous waste determination for <br />the sludge and rinsate, and manage it according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a <br />statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was managed by 6-14-12 . <br />Additional research will be conducted to verify permitted use of the dead end sump. <br />ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br />THIS FACILITY IS SUBJECT TO REINSPECTION AT ANY TIME AT EHD'S CURRENT HOURLY RATE <br />
