IL <br /> OIL <br /> LABELING OF WASTE PRODUCTS <br /> Our shop generates hazardous waste products: <br /> • Used motor oil (1- 500 gal drum) <br /> • Used oil filters (4- 30 gal drums) <br /> • Used anti-freeze (1-30 gal drum) <br /> • Used absorbent (1-30 gal drum) <br /> • Soiled rags <br /> • Used thinner/solvents (1-30 gal drum) <br /> These drum must be properly labeled and dated. The labels must address: <br /> • Generator's Name and Address ( Green Valley Transportation) <br /> • Manifest Tracking No. <br /> • Contents <br /> • Physical state- Solid or Liquid <br /> • Hazardous Properties- Flammable-Toxic-Corrosive-Reactivity or other. <br /> • Accumulation date- The date that this container began to hold the <br /> waste. Each time the container is emptied by a qualified Hazardous <br /> Waste hauler the date must be changed to reflect the start date of the <br /> container. <br /> SEE EXAMPLE OF LABEL ATTACHED <br /> The accumulation date is very important and when it reaches 180 days this <br /> must be emptied. <br /> ANY AND ALL CONTAINER THAT IS RE-PURPOSED MUST BE RELABLED. <br /> ANY AND ALL CONTAINERS IN THE SHOP,YARD OR DOCK MUST HAVE A <br /> LABEL SIGNIFYING WHAT IT CONTAINS. IF IT IS EMPTY THROW IT <br /> AWAY!! <br />
