Correct <br />immediately by daily conducting and documenting the hazardous waste tank inspections. <br />135. A routine inspection was conducted on March 29, 2012. The return to compliance statements for <br />this inspection have not been received by the EHD. The facility must submit a written response within <br />thirty days of receiving an inspection report. Correct immediately by completing the return to compliance <br />statements for the March 29, 2012 inspection report and submit them to the EHD. <br />301. There are three used oil filters that were left in the outside parking lot. These filters have leaked oil <br />and left dark, wet oil stains on the parking lot. Facilities shall be maintained and operated to minimize <br />the possibility of a fire, explosion, or release of hazardous waste to air, soil, or surface water which could <br />threaten human health or the environment. Immediately clean up the dark wet, oil stains and used filters, <br />and manage according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement and supporting <br />documentation explaining haw this waste was managed by May 29, 2013. <br />609. There are three used oil filters that were left in the outside parking lot. These filters have leaked <br />oil <br />and left dark, wet oil stains on the parking lot. Used oil filters shall be drained of free-flowing Oil. Ensure <br />that all used oil filters are drained prior to storing them. Submit a statement and supporting <br />documentation explaining how this waste was managed by May 29, 2013. <br />610. There are three used oil filters that were left in the outside parking lot. These filters have leaked oil <br />and left dark, wet oil stains on the parking lot. Used oil filters must be stored in a closed, rainproof <br />container, labeled as "drained used oil filters," and marked with an accumulation start date. Immediately <br />containerize these filters in the existing used oil filter drums on site and ensure that all used oil filters are <br />managed in this way. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was <br />managed by May 29, 2013. <br />803. One AAA battery was left outside next to the three used oil filters that leaked oil on the parking lot. <br />Universal Waste(UW) batteries must be stored in a manner that prevents breakage and release to the <br />environment. Damaged UW batteries must be stored in a closed, structurally sound container that is <br />compatible with the battery and its contents. Correct immediately by properly managing any UW battery <br />according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations.
