Mr. Gill indicated that his <br /> hazardous waste is being picked up every 2-4 months. Hazardous waste generators shall retain copies of all <br /> manifests signed off by the disposal facility and all receipts used in a consolidated manifesting procedure on site for <br /> three years and have them readily available for review. Immediately locate a copy of all manifests and receipts for <br /> the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the EHD. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 113 HSC 25160.2(b)(3) Failed to keep copies of consolidated manifesting receipts for three years. <br /> Copies of hazardous waste disposal records were not found on site. Hazardous waste generators shall retain <br /> copies of all manifests signed off by the disposal facility and all receipts used in a consolidated manifesting <br /> procedure on site for three years and have them readily available for review. Immediately locate a copy of all <br /> manifests and receipts for the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the EHD. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 115 CCR 66266.81(a)(4)(B) Failed to retain copy of manifest or bill of lading for spent lead acid batteries for 3 years. <br /> Bills of lading or manifests for the management of lead acid batteries were not found on site. A copy of each bill of <br /> lading must be kept on site for at least three years. Immediately locate a copy of all bills of lading or manifests for <br /> lead acid batteries for the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the EHD. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 301 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br /> Waste absorbent and oily staining were observed on the ground in the outdoor area utilized for the storage of <br /> hazardous waste (predominantly waste oil and oil filters). Facilities shall be maintained and operated to minimize <br /> the possibility of a fire, explosion, or release of hazardous waste to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten <br /> human health or the environment. Immediately fix all leaks and staining, lift all the lift absorbent off the ground, and <br /> manage according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations, and ensure that facility is operated to minimize releases. <br /> Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was managed. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 303 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to maintain all communication or alarm systems, spill control, or decontamination <br /> equipment. <br /> No spill control or decontamination equipment(e.g. eye wash)were available onsite at the time of inspection. All <br /> facilities shall be equipped with an internal communication or alarm system, a device capable of calling outside <br /> emergency help, spill control equipment, and decontamination equipment at all times. Immediately begin this <br /> practice.
