The lab analytical on site, dated
3/24/15, indicated copper was at 1400 mg/kg. No STLC test results were available for copper in 2015. (TTLC results
for copper in October 2010 were 1100 mg/kg. STLC results for copper in October 2010 were non-detect.) Any person
who generates a waste shall determine if the waste is a hazardous waste. Immediately stop disposal of ink filter cake
as non-hazardous, make a hazardous waste determination for the filter cake, and manage it according the Title 22
hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was
managed.
This is a minor violation.
406 CCR 66261.7(f) Contaminated container not marked with date emptied or managed within one year of being emptied.
Four 55 gallon drums which previously held oil were observed in the hazardous waste area, two with no date emptied,
one with a date of 10/20/13, and one with a date of 4/30/13. Containers larger than five gallons that previously held a
hazardous material shall be marked with the date they were emptied and managed within one year of being emptied.
Immediately mark and manage all empty containers per this section.
This is a minor violation.
