Document Number: Pagel of 3 <br /> 719p <br /> Rev.Number: Date Released: <br /> 3.0 11/1/2007 <br /> Approved By: <br /> Gary Campbell <br /> Directing Emergency Vehicles <br /> I Purpose and Scope <br /> Purpose: <br /> The purpose of this procedure is to direct emergency vehicles in a safe and orderly <br /> manner to the site of an accident or emergency. <br /> Scope: <br /> This procedure applies to all Temple-Inland Tracy employees. <br /> 2 Safety Instructions <br /> No Safety Instructions There are no safety instructions related to this <br /> document. <br /> 3 Responsibilities <br /> SUPERVISORS <br /> Direct employee activities in response to emergencies <br /> PLANT EMPLOYEE <br /> Escorts emergency crews and provides information <br /> to them under the direction of the Supervisor. <br /> 4 Process Steps <br /> 4.1 Call for emergency services. <br /> In the event of an emergency where off-site response teams are needed,the <br /> Supervisor will call the 911 dispatcher and provide the facility street address. <br /> 4.2 Dispatch an employee to the driveway entrance. <br /> The employee should be equipped with a radio to maintain communication with <br /> the Supervisor at the incident scene and a truck to quickly pilot the emergency <br /> vehicle to the best location to gain access to the incident scene. <br /> Printed copies of this document are uncontrolled. <br />
