STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE <br /> Procedure#: Title: <br /> Issue#:4th Emergency Evacuation <br /> Issue Date:7/15/2008 Procedures— *mp n&9rW <br /> Supersedes Date: 7/5/2007 Finishing Dept.Area#1 <br /> 1.0 Purpose <br /> The purpose of this procedure is to provide instructions and guidelines to employees for <br /> emergency situations,evacuations and drills. <br /> 2.0 References <br /> T-I Safety Management System Manual Chapter 14. <br /> IOP 9000 4.21 PROC 4.3.7 Emergency Action <br /> 3.0 Definitions <br /> Emergency Evacuation Procedures—Standardized method of evacuating the facility in a safe <br /> manner. <br /> 4.0 Responsibility <br /> All Shift Supervisors and Working Foremen will be responsible for checking that all employees are <br /> accounted for. <br /> 5.0 Safety <br /> All safety rules, regulations,and procedures will be adhered to while carrying out the activities <br /> associated with this procedure. <br /> 6.0 Procedure <br /> Employees scheduled on the following machines: Evol 1, Evol 2, Evo13, E162, Pallet Driver,and <br /> Die Room <br /> 6.1 Shut off the machines. <br /> 6.2 Evacuate the facility through the rear employee's entrance, located next to the <br /> Personnel Office. <br /> 6.3 Proceed to Parking Lot#3 located on the southeast side of the facility. <br /> 6.4 Report to the Shift Supervisor or Working Foreman. <br /> 6.5 The Shift Supervisor will dispatch a radio-equipped driver to the front gate to keep <br /> the driveway clear,send away any non-emergency entrants to the plant,and to <br /> direct emergency vehicles to the scene. <br /> 6.6 Do not return to building until released by Supervisor. <br /> 6.7 Supervisor{s}will conduct an evaluation of the drill and submit the record to the <br /> Safety Coordinator as a training record. <br /> 7.0 Documentation <br /> 7.1 Appendix M Evacuation Drill Report <br /> issued By: Authorized By: Page 1 of 2 <br /> Jim Dana anan Don S araco 7 <br />
