Alarm Panels Designed for use with USD compact probes, as well as other "open -on -activation" type ofsen- sors, USD offers two economical alarm panels -- the AP -01 and AP - 04, both designed to be mounted in a non -hazardous location. The Model AP -01 alarm panel is housed inside a water- tight enclosure. It can receive one open -to -activate alarm signal, and trigger one flashing LED alarm one audible alarm, and one set of SPDT relay contacts. The device also provides an aud- ible alar silence switch and a pushbutton switch for reset function. The Model AP -04 alarm panel is also housed inside a watertight enclosure. It is de- signed to connect up to four independent open -to -activate alarm signals, and trigger four independent Flashing LED alarms, and four sets of SPDT relay con- tacts. The device is also equipped with one audible alarm, plus a reset function enabled by either a pushbutton switch or a key switch. W3. ALARM PANEL Single -Channel Compact Probes Offered also are two single -channel compact probes, Models IAV -100 and LAL -100. Designed for cost-effective underground tank monitoring applications, each unit is packaged in an explosion - proof enclosure Class 1, Group C & D and Class 11, Group E, F & 0 applications. The LAV -100 is designed for CA , I J,,/ vapor detection such as vadose zone monitoring; the LALr100 Is designed for liquid detection. Each unit is isolated from the remote sensor by an intrinsically safe Zener safety barrier. Each unit includes a built-in LED alarm indi- cator and a set of SPDT relay con- tacts. The LAV -100 is equipped with afield -adjustable alar level trimpot for background contamina- tion screening, and an analog output for recording or instrumentation. In case of a leak the SPDT relay con- tacts can be used to shut off a pump or valve or interface with a remote alar enunciator such as USD's AP -01 or AP -04 alarm panels. Sensing Probes & Packages LAVS-1 MOS -type vapor -sensing probe with 10 -foot cable. Used for detec- tion of most combustible and organic vapors. To be used with models LA -01, LA -02, and LA -X4 Leak A.. t panels. LALS-1 'F a -type liquid -sensing probe with 25 -foot cable. Used for detection of most liquids. To be used with models LA -01, LA -02, and LA -X4 Leak Alert panels. LAVS-1P Vapor -sensing package Including one LAVS-1 vapor sensor, one ZSB-2 Zener Safety Barrier, and one USD PC -58 PC card. To be used with LA -04, LA -08, and LA -16 Leak Alert panels. LALS-I P Liquid -sensing package in- cluding one LALS-1 liquid sensor, one ZSB-1 Zener Safety Barrier, and one USD PC -58 PC card. To be used with LA -04, LA -08, and LA -16 Leak Alert panels.
