Page 9 of 78 <br /> ~ SF_CfTON 1 <br /> GENERAL <br /> 1-01 SCOPE: The work covered by this specification includes furnishing all <br /> labor, material , and equipment necessary to perform all operati.cns <br /> involved during removal of fuel tanks, pumps; pipes, sumps, and <br /> Building 2.03, in compliance with all contract drawings, <br /> specifications, and contract documents, hereafter specified at Defense <br /> Depot Tracy, Tracy, California. The work shall be completed in strict <br /> accordance with these specifications, applicable drawings, and subject <br /> to the terms and conditions of the contract. Ubrk shall be performed <br /> complete in every respect. <br /> 1-02 GENERAL R."IREPiENTS: <br /> a. Existin Conditions: The system layout shown on the drawing shall <br /> not a construe as exact or complete, nor are minor deviations <br /> covered. The Contractor shall be responsible for determining the <br /> exact conditions of the project site and shall accept them as they <br /> exist. The Contractor shall verify all dimensions in the field. <br /> b. Supervision: All work to be performed under this contract shall <br /> Ge coordinated by the contractor through a full-time, responsible <br /> field supervisor to assure proper performance of the contract. <br /> c. Scheduling and Coordination of Work: Before any work is started <br /> in connection with this contract, the Contractor shall submit a <br /> work schedule. The work schedule shall outline each phase of work <br /> and will show the planned starting date and completion date. The <br /> Contractor shall adhere to the schedule as closely as possible. <br /> Should it be required to make a significant change in the <br /> schedule, the Contractor shall submit a revised schedule for the <br /> approval of the Contracting Officer. It shall be the Contractor's <br /> responsibility to conduct all phases of his work in connection <br /> with this contract in such a manner as to assure a minimum of <br /> interference to Government activities to the satisfaction of the <br /> Contracting Officer. Any material (unless specified elsewhere in <br /> this contract) which is necessarily removed in the performance of <br /> this contract, and is not scheduled for reinstallation, shall <br /> become the property of the Contractor. All scrap materials <br /> generated in the performance of this contract will also be the <br /> property of the Contractor and shall be hauled off the Depot by <br /> the Contractor. <br /> d. Protection and Maintenance of Facilities: Any damage to <br /> Government equipmento acit es accidental or not) resulting <br /> from the work included in this contract shall be repaired/replaced <br /> by the contractor without additional expense to the Government. <br /> Replacement material or equipment shall be equivalent or equal as <br /> 1-01 <br />
