Page 9 of 78 ~ SF_CfTON 1 GENERAL 1-01 SCOPE: The work covered by this specification includes furnishing all labor, material , and equipment necessary to perform all operati.cns involved during removal of fuel tanks, pumps; pipes, sumps, and Building 2.03, in compliance with all contract drawings, specifications, and contract documents, hereafter specified at Defense Depot Tracy, Tracy, California. The work shall be completed in strict accordance with these specifications, applicable drawings, and subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. Ubrk shall be performed complete in every respect. 1-02 GENERAL R."IREPiENTS: a. Existin Conditions: The system layout shown on the drawing shall not a construe as exact or complete, nor are minor deviations covered. The Contractor shall be responsible for determining the exact conditions of the project site and shall accept them as they exist. The Contractor shall verify all dimensions in the field. b. Supervision: All work to be performed under this contract shall Ge coordinated by the contractor through a full-time, responsible field supervisor to assure proper performance of the contract. c. Scheduling and Coordination of Work: Before any work is started in connection with this contract, the Contractor shall submit a work schedule. The work schedule shall outline each phase of work and will show the planned starting date and completion date. The Contractor shall adhere to the schedule as closely as possible. Should it be required to make a significant change in the schedule, the Contractor shall submit a revised schedule for the approval of the Contracting Officer. It shall be the Contractor's responsibility to conduct all phases of his work in connection with this contract in such a manner as to assure a minimum of interference to Government activities to the satisfaction of the Contracting Officer. Any material (unless specified elsewhere in this contract) which is necessarily removed in the performance of this contract, and is not scheduled for reinstallation, shall become the property of the Contractor. All scrap materials generated in the performance of this contract will also be the property of the Contractor and shall be hauled off the Depot by the Contractor. d. Protection and Maintenance of Facilities: Any damage to Government equipmento acit es accidental or not) resulting from the work included in this contract shall be repaired/replaced by the contractor without additional expense to the Government.
