All incidents not obviously limited to <br />first aid treatment require the notification of medical personnel to provide more definitive <br />medical care. The location and directions to the nearest hospital will be provided each day. <br />A map showing the route to the hospital is presented as Figure 3-2. Details will be presented <br />daily in the Tailgate Safety Meeting. Serious or life-threatening injuries should be taken to: <br />Tracy Community Hospital <br />1420 Tracy Blvd. <br />Tracy, California <br />(209) 835-1500 <br />Non -serious injuries such as sprains and strains should be treated at: <br />Sun Valley Urgent Care <br />1100 Contra Costa Blvd. <br />Concord, CA <br />(510) 825-2000 <br />The H&S assistant, at IT Martinez, Korene Mangelsen (510) 372-9100, should be contacted <br />prior to sending an employee to either Tracy Community Hospital or Sun Valley Urgent Care. <br />The H&S Assistant will fax a treatment authorization and worker compensation insurance, to <br />the hospital or clinic. <br />3.12.3 Fires <br />As a fire prevention measure, no smoking or foes will be permitted wherever there may be <br />dry grass or other flammable material, or wherever DDRW Tracy specifically forbids such <br />practice. Vehicles and equipment will not be left idling or parked in or around areas where <br />they may cause grass fires.
