Box 2009
Stockton, CA 95201
Re: Courtyard oil Tank Piping
Dear Pam:
THE
NEWARK
GROUP
After your discussions with Scott Adams of RESNA, following
an inspection of the work in progress at the remediation
site, you requested a statement describing the disposition of
the piping associated with the underground tanks and sump.
I am concerned that Scott may have unintentionally mislead
you to a degree. The removed pipe, fittings and valves were
allowed to drain back into the sump and then were cleaned
(steam cleaned in some instances). Some of the valves and
fittings were still of value and could be reused. That
"piping" which was not reused was sent to a metal recycling
company, Circosta Iron & Metal Co. located at 1801 Evans Ave.
in San Francisco.
If you have any further questions, please let me know.
Sincerely,
4Michael J.
