\M11 *=01 <br />Soil samples will be taken by Del -Tech, 10624 Olive Ave, Oakdale, CA 95361, phone <br />(209) 847-8757. Soil samples will be excavated. Using back hoe, samples will be taken <br />two (2) feet to four (4) feet. By hand using brass tubes, all AB -one procedures will be. <br />according to code. Paydirt Excavating co. Inc. will use proper equipment for each tank- <br />removal. <br />ankremoval. No undersized equipment will be used. All heavy equipment will be supported <br />properly. Tanks are to be secured at the assigned location after extraction. <br />Paydirt Excavating Co. Inc. will provide safety hats, goggles, and clothing to employees <br />at the job site as per OSHA Regulation 29 CFR 1910, 120. Caution will be noted that a <br />heat stress situation may develop when impermeable protective clothing is worn. Paydirt <br />Excavating Co. Inc. will hold shop meetings before start of tank removals, to discuss <br />safety procedures. The "buddy' system will be discussed and the course of action to be <br />taken should any injury occur to an employee. some of many rules to be discussed to <br />help prevent injury or accident are: <br />1. Avoid standing on top of the tank surface. It may be slippery or rusty. <br />2. Check for falling objects, slip, and tripping hazards daily. <br />3. Plastic tarp sheeting will be used if necessary around excavated soil. <br />4. Where necessary, the site will be secured and warning signs up. <br />5.
