Petrometer's Fuel Oil Gaug4 System
For Domestic ar d Commercial Use
nvc
Model 1329
The Model 1329 Petrometer is designed for use on fuel oil or other ligc,ds of
similar viscosity, on small to medium 100%vented tanks, and distance '•om
tank to gauge up to approximately 150 feet. For unvented tanks, longel dis-
tances, deep tanks or viscous liquids refer to Series 1700 gauges.
J^
J
OPTIONAL 100%W
/
ALARM VENT
_j LOW LEVEL ONLY
a
F _ REINFOHCER PIPE MODEL 1372
II (Not supplied) TANK
ASSEMBLY
]j
g ; — —AIR BELL t
Schematic of Complete System
VI The System Consists Of The Following:
1. The Model 1329 Tank Gauge, a well type manometer, in which a column
of Red-X indicating liquid (SP.GR. 2.954) is read against a scale calibrated
in units of depth and/or volume.
2. The Tank Assembly Unit, Model 1372 or other (refer to page 14). j
3. Optional accessories, if any.
Operation:
The Model 1329 Gauging System operates on the principles of hydrostatic
measurement (refer to page 3) to provide a true reading of product leve! and/or
volume.Air to purge(blowdown)the tank assembly unit is introduced by a built-in
hand pump. During tank withdrawals, the system is self purging and gauge
readings will follow the tank liquid level. During filling the gauge will react slightly
lower than the actual tank level. A few strokes of the hand pump will correct
this small error.
r ,
4
1 .
li:. ,►
e
_ r
