SQ013 It. of Work <br />The purpose of this project is to ensure appropriate hardware, software and related programming is completed at the <br />designated locations. This project will provide the necessary upgrades to ensure the current TLS -350 is upgraded to <br />the functionality of a TLS -350R. <br />Process: rr <br />During the project, the assigned Authorized Service Contractor�wal work with Veeder-Root's field service and technical <br />phone support groups to ensure the following. <br />• GVR will order all equipment that is required to ensure proper installation of BIR functionality. E <br />delivered to the ASC the week prior to installation, y Equip will be <br />• ASC to schedule with the site the day and time of the u <br />at 9:30 PM or before the site o ens at 6:30 AM. pgrade. Upgrades must be comnleted after the site closes <br />• ASC to ensure proper equipment installation of hardware, software and operation of TLS system is within <br />specification based on location equipment. <br />• ASC network will utilize Standard Work documents that correspond with location needs. <br />• ASC is responsible for certifying that the installation is in accordance with Veeder-Root installation specifications. <br />• GVR FMS will verify communications and the setup programming before the ASC leaves the site. See page below <br />titled "FMS Costco BIR instructions", <br />• At the completion of the upgrade, the ASC and Veeder-Root Technical phone support will ensure that the TLS is <br />receiving dispenser transaction information BEFORE the on-site tech leaves location. <br />• Veeder-Root Technical phone Support will connect to each location 1-2 da s after u <br />all meters are mapped correctly for proper BIR operations. y pgrade is completed to ensure <br />• Follow-up with each site weekly for the 56 d g p e <br />n of the to ensure <br />AccuChart and BiR are performing as intend. If the location does not exeletrcise theirtanks (tannketer�ng acctivity from 10% <br />to 90% at least 3 times) during the tank calibration period, and less than desirable calibration has been made it is <br />not a technology issue. <br />• At anytime during the 56 day calibration period, if Veeder-Root phone support <br />issue <br />has occurred with the BiR functionality, the ASC will be notified (Dispatched) withtdetailed instructionsermines that alonlwhat <br />action is required to remedy the problem. <br />Standard Work Document <br />TLS Software / ECP112 / NVMEM I 1 -rade <br />1. Locations that have been identified with software, ECPU2 upgrade and or NVMEM please refer to <br />Manual # 576013-637 for installation instructions. <br />Software Enhancement Module ICCAAI. <br />1. Verify if TLS has current SEM installed. <br />2. If No SEM install proceed to Step 8. <br />3. Go to Diagnostics Mode and Function to System Diagnostics, <br />4. Press Step until Software Enhancement Module appears. <br />5. Press Print. <br />6. Note that current SEM installed should have the same feature set as the new SEM (except no BIR). <br />7. Remove Power and Remove current SEM <br />8. Install the new SEM per the Software Enhancement Module Installation instructions. <br />a. (Reference Manual # 576013-637) <br />9. Perform Step 3 to 5 and verify that the new SEM has all the original enhancements PLUS BIR <br />
