0 0
FMS COSTCO BIR INSTRUCTIONS: C_ VEEDER-ROOT
Costco is installing BIR at about 350 locations. Many of which will require a cold start. We will need to dial in,
verify communications and also the setup programming before the ASC leaves the site.
1. No change in communications number is required. Dial the location and verify that you are able to get data back
2. Run a startup script MAKE SURE YOU ARE TYPING IN THE CORRECT GVR ID
3. Let the startup script finish COMPLETELY. It is important that it updates the setup information at the end.
4. Perform a 3 minute call back
5. Verify you get the call back
6. Now go to the setup monitoring screen.
a. Change the Current Display to ALL
b. Change the Display matches to non -Matches
c. Push Load
7. Review the non-matching items with the ASC to determine why they are different than the approved value.
Obviously the new BIR data commands may not match since BIR was not installed previously these values can be
accepted but the other non-matching values should be confirmed with the ASC.
B. If changes are required either you or the ASC will need to make them. if the ASC makes them you will have to
update the setup screen.
a. Procomm — bring up the setup command GUI and type in the corresponding command with an i. Example
i60200 (update tank labels)
b. Devcom — Click the `Store response in DB" checkbox on the bottom right, type the I command in the
command list and push enter
9. You are complete when your setup monitoring screen shows that there are no longer any items that do not match
and you received a 3 minute call back from the locations.
