ti <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> This site-specific health and safety plan has been developed by Dillard Environmental Services <br /> (DES) for the tank removal project located at 8111 E. 11th Ave. in Tracy, California. This <br /> document sets forth the minimum acceptable requirements and procedures for site occupational <br /> health and safety of DES personnel. Changes to the plan may be necessary as actual project <br /> tasks commence. <br /> 2.0 ASSIGNMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> 2.1 Project Manager <br /> The Project Manager (PM) will have overall responsibility for the implementation of the site <br /> health and safety plan. This will include communicating site requirements to all personnel <br /> regarding appropriate changes to the health and safety plan. The Project Manager (PM), R. Scott <br /> Klopf, may delegate his authority to the Site Health and Safety Officer. Mr. Klopf may be <br /> contacted at the following telephone numbers: DES office (510) 634-6850, or pager (510) 539- <br /> 7177. <br /> 2.2 Site Health and Safety Officer <br /> The Site Health and Safety Officer will be the first line supervisor responsible for ensuring that <br /> work crews comply with all the site health and safety requirements. He/she will report all <br /> violations to the Project Manager immediately. The Site Health and Safety Officer will be <br /> assigned by the Project Manager. <br /> 2.3 Hazardous Material Technicians <br /> Hazardous Material Technicians (HMTs) will be responsible for understanding and complying <br /> with all site health and safety requirements. All safety violations will be reported to the Project <br /> Manager. All HMTs will have completed the required OSHA 40 - Hour Hazardous Response <br /> Training Course prior to job assignment. <br /> 1 <br />
