%fte <br /> ib <br /> 3.0 SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> The site is located at 811 East 11TH Ave. in Tracy, California. The site consists of 1-1000 <br /> gallon Underground Storage Tank (UST) previously containing gasoline. A site map is inserted <br /> in Appendix A. <br /> 4.0 SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Dillard Environmental Services (DES) has been contracted to perform the removal of tank <br /> contents and the excavation and removal of the tanks. <br /> 5.0 HEALTH HAZARDS <br /> Gasoline is the only known contaminate at the site. The associated health hazards and legal <br /> limits are as follows: <br /> Hazards/Exposure: Inhalation and skin irritation <br /> Exposure limits: <br /> Gasoline <br /> TWA <br /> ACGIH 300 mg/m3 <br /> OSHA 300 mg/m' <br /> 6.0 PHYSICAL HAZARDS <br /> The operation of or working near heavy construction equipment (dump trucks, front end loaders, <br /> backhoe, etc.) will present the risk of physical injury at these sites. Only qualified operators will <br /> be allowed to work the heavy equipment. DES will use the safe work guidelines included in the <br /> OSHA General Industry Standard (29 CFR 1910) and Construction Industry Standards (29 CFR <br /> 1926). <br /> 2 <br />
